I am the church and I stand like a rock
My windows are staind with the blood
Well I've been standing for 50 years or more
And the people sing the praises to the lord
My bells are ringing on sunday morning
My steeple stands like a banner in the sun
Well I was standing in a forest
Now I'm standing in the street
Watching city dwellers building corruption
The sky scraper the tower over me
Trying to reach toward heaven
They block the sun from my face
But the sun is deep inside of me
My bells are rining on sunday morning
My steeple stands like a banner in the sun
I am the church and I stand like a rock
The buildings are falling down around me
I'll stand with my steeple tall and proud untill the day the savior
Comes the ground is shaking the sky is turning grey
A day is commmng when I wont have to stay
The ground is shaking the sky is turning grey
A day is commng when I wont have to stay...
